Áureo y Calicó sale 345, lot 337

This specimen was lot 337 in Áureo y Calicó sale 345 (Barcelona, March 2020), where it sold for €110 (about US$145 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Reyes Católicos. Toledo. 1 real. MBC. (kingdom of Spain, Catholic kings, undated one real, Toledo mint. Very fine.)"

Cayón records two dozen varieties of silver one reales from Toledo (Cayón-2727 thru Cayón-2750). We think this is Cayón-2741, based on the presence of the florette opposite the mintmark. The bundle on the reverse has six arrows.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: silver, this specimen 3,28 g.

Catalog reference: Cal-611, Cayón-2741.
