This specimen was lot 34367 in Heritage sale 3098 (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $1,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "Spain: Valencia. Ferdinand & Isabella gold Ducat (Excelente) ND (1474-1504) AU Details (Rim Filing) NGC, Valencia mint. Showing a somewhat blocky engraving style, though nonetheless struck on a full flan even with the noted rim filing. The planchet remains quite lustrous, with its uneven texture likely the result of rusty dies. From the GK Collection." This type is listed for Burgos, Granada, Segovia, Seville, Toledo and Valencia (shown here).
