This specimen was lot 139 in Aureo y Calicó sale 448 (Barcelona, March 2025), where it sold for 7,900 € (about US$10,320 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Catholic Monarchs. Burgos. Excelente. Obv.: *9VOS:DEVS:CONGVNGIT:hOMO:NON:SEPARET:. Rev.: FERNANDVS:ET hELISABET:D:G:R. B over the busts. Slightly warped. Very rare. MBC [very fine]. Ex Caballero de las Yndias Colle[c]tion 06/03/2009, no. 1071." This type was struck at Burgos (shown here), Cuenca, Granada, Segovia, Seville, Toledo, Valencia and Zaragoza. Burgos is just about the rarest mint.
