Aureo y Calicó sale 447, lot 1123

This specimen was lot 1123 in Aureo y Calicó sale 447 (Barcelona, March 2025), where it sold for 95 € (about US$124 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Catholic Monarchs. Seville. n. 2 reales. MBC- [about very fine]." This type was struck at Seville with thirteen different privy marks. This example has the "S" to the left of the shield and a square "D" between the yoke and the arrows on the reverse.
