This specimen was lot 71110 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $2,400. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 5 Centavos, 1880-Do B. Durango Mint. NGC EF-40. Finest and only numerically graded of just two examples in NGC census. Rare date. Missing in the Banco de Mexico Collection. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Decimal Minors." Shown is an 1880-DO B five centavos, of a type struck 1874, 1877-81, 1887-94. This issue from Durango is a scarce date. The Durango mint was closed in 1895.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a scarce date.

Specification: 1.35 g, 0.903 fine silver, 14 mm diameter, reeded edge.
