This specimen was struck at the Hermosillo mint in 1868. This mint struck silver one reals 1867-68 only, all with assayer PR. This specimen appears to be an overdate of some kind. The issues of Hermosillo are the rarest mint after Estado de Mexico.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 3.38 g, 0.903 fine silver, .099 troy oz ASW.
