The Mexico City mint struck silver five centavos of the upright eagle style 1869-81 and 1886-97. Prior to that, there was a brief issue of "cap and ray" five centavos from Potosi and Mexico City in 1867-69. This date is not common.

Specification: 1.354 g, 0.903 fine silver, .0393 troy oz ASW.
