Morton & Eden sale 104, lot 656

This specimen was lot 656 in Morton & Eden sale 104 (London, November 2019), where it sold for £650 (about US$1,007 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Decimal Coinage, 10 pesos, Durango mint, 1876 M, good very fine to extremely fine, scarce." This is a somewhat better date for this mint. A few dates are common, the rest are scarce to rare.

Specification: 16.92 g, 0.875 fine gold, .476 troy oz AGW.
