This specimen was lot 71232 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 10 Centavos, 1876-As L. Alamos Mint. NGC Unc Details--Reverse Spot Removed. Very attractive. Problem is not obvious. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Decimal Minors." The Alamos mint struck silver ten centavos 1874-93 and most dates are fairly common to somewhat scarce. Unlike the five centavos, gold coin obverse dies were not used on the ten centavos. The Alamos mint was closed in 1895.

Recorded mintage: unknown but fairly common.

Specification: 1.35 g, 0.903 fine silver, 14 mm diameter, reeded edge.
