The first specimen was lot 6421 in Ponterio sale 155 (Baltimore, November 2010), where it sold for $690. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Oaxaca. 8 Reales, 1867-AE. Eagle with forked right wing. Lightly toned, sharply struck. BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED." The SCWC lists this as a scarce but not extremely rare date for Oaxaca.
