This specimen was lot 2257 in Goldberg sale 93 (Los Angeles, September 2016), where it sold for $235. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mexico. 2 Reales, 1862-Mo CH NGC MS64. Cap and rays. Couple of reverse hairlines. Brilliant mint luster. NGC graded MS-64." This date is common for the type but choice specimens are rare. The type was struck at Mexico City 1825-68 with assayer CH recorded for 1861-63 and 1867-68.
