This specimen was lot 6281 in Ponterio sale 155 (Baltimore, November 2010), where it sold for $488.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Guadalajara. 8 Reales, 1829/8-FS. VERY RARE overdate (missing from the J.B. Parker Collection). Ex: Ponterio Auction #142, lot #382. FINE-VERY FINE." For 1829, the SCWC lists a regular date and the aforesaid overdate, both rare.
