This specimen was lot 72099 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2026), where it sold for $170.80. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. 1/2 Real, 1829-Ga FS. Guadalajara Mint. NGC VF-25. Very scarce date. Finest of only two graded by NGC. The other coin is VG Details. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Reales Minors." Guadalajara half reales are known for 1825-62 and this is not listed in the SCWC as a scarce date. Assayer FS served 1825-36.
