Shown is an 1810MoHJ half real, one of a type struck 1808-14. The "imaginary bust" shown of Ferdinand VII (used because Ferdinand was rotting in a French prison) was superseded by the "standard bust" used 1815-21. Assayer HJ is recorded for the years 1810-13.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 1.69 g, 0.896 fine silver, .048 troy oz ASW.
