This specimen was lot 11259 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 4 Reales, 1863-GoYF. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder. Pastel tone on obverse." Four reales are known from Guanajuato for 1835-70 and this is a common date.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 13.54 g, 0.903 fine silver, .392 troy oz ASW.
