This specimen was lot 5647 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €2,400 (about US$3,340 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-LÜNEBURG, FÜRSTENTUM, Johann Friedrich, 1665-1679. Reichstaler 1679, Zellerfeld, auf seinen Tod am 28. Dezember. RR Schöne Patina, vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung eines Ingenieurs. Exemplar der Auktion Westfälische Auktionsgesellschaft 80, Dortmund 2018, Nr. 399. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg, John Frederick, 1665-79, thaler of 1679, Zellerfeld mint, on his death on December 28. Very rare, beautiful patina, extremely fine.)"
