This specimen was lot 24374 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $1,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 8 Escudos, 1858-MoFH. PCGS Genuine--Scratch, Unc Details Secure Holder. Light scratch on obverse. Bold strike, lustrous and attractive." Assayer FH is listed for 1858-60.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 27.07 g, 0.875 fine gold, .760 troy oz AGW.
