This type was struck at Durango 1832-69, with assayer CP listed for 1853-62 and 1869. This specimen was lot 8129 in Ponterio sale 159 (Baltimore, March 2011), where it sold for $115. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Durango. 1/2 Real, 1858/7-DoCP. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED." Only the overdate is recorded. This is among the first issues with the standard eagle.
