This specimen was lot 463 in Morton & Eden sale 104 (London, November 2019), where it sold for £1,900 (about US$2,943 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic, 8 reales, Guadalupe y Calvo mint, 1852 MP, metal flaw at 3 o'clock on reverse, virtually mint state, with rather patchy tone, very rare." Altho none of the products of this shortlived mint are common, this final date is the key.
