This specimen was struck at the Zacatecas mint in 1846. This mint struck silver and gold coins 1812-1905, with one reales known for 1826-62 and 1868-69. The issues of Guanajuato, along with Zacatecas and Mexico City, are generally considered common. This specimen may be the 1847/6 overdate.
