This specimen was lot 74693 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2022), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. 4 Mariengroschen, 1736-IAB. Zellerfeld Mint. Karl I. NGC AU-55. Popular design of prancing stallion on the obverse. Crowned 'C' monogram on the reverse. A choice example with minimal wear." This denomination was one-sixth of a gulden or one-ninth of a thaler. The denomination was struck with the wild man reverse shown here and a leaping stallion reverse (KM 894). This type is listed for 1735-80 and no date receives a premium.
