This specimen was lot 74490 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 6 Mariengroschen (1/6 Taler), 1735-IAB. Zellerfeld Mint. Ludwig Rudolph. PCGS AU-55. Old cabinet toning is accentuated by subtle highlights of gold, russet, and cyan. A lovely, lustrous example. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck for Ludwig Rudolph 1731-37. He was previously duke of Brunswick-Blankenburg.
