Künker sale 353, lot 3435

This specimen was lot 3435 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,183 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 1/2 Reichstaler preuß. 1751, C, Cleve. R Sehr schön. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, half thaler of 1751, Cleve mint. Rare, very fine.)"

This type was struck at Cleve 1751 only and is scarce.
