This specimen was lot 32215 in Heritage sale 3041 (Chicago, August 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Prussia. Friedrich II Taler 1751-ICM MS62 NGC. Issued for the Royal Prussian Asiatic Society. A beautiful and wholly natural example of this rare type. Often encountered unevenly struck or with evidence of handling, this Mint State piece has a bold strike with more minute details present than the technical grade might suggest. Quite beautiful in its originality, and an extremely rare coin for the real numismatic connoisseur." This type is not listed in the SCWC.
