This specimen was lot 71456 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $85. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. 10 Centavos, 1886-Zs Z. Zacatecas Mint. NGC VF-25. Only example in NGC Census. Very scarce assayer. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Decimal Minors." This is a scarcer date of a type struck at Zacatecas 1870-97. The 1886-Z^S S is common.

Recorded mintage: 274,000 including assayer S.

Specification: 2.70 g, 0.903 fine silver, 18 mm diameter, reeded edge.
