This specimen was lot 72208 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 50 Centavos, 1886-CHa M. Chihuahua Mint. NGC VF Details--Damaged. Of four examples graded by NGC the highest is VF-20 with three VF Details. Last and year of CHa mint mark. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Decimal Minors." Five dates are known for this fifty centavos from the Chihuahua mint, 1883-87, all with assayer M. All are uncommon to scarce. The Chihuahua mint closed in 1895.

Specification: 13.53 g, 0.903 fine silver, 30.5 mm diameter, reeded edge.
