This specimen was lot 73414 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 50 Centavos, 1874-Do M. Durango Mint. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, AU Details. This minor features much crisp detail. Gently cleaned but now toned over to a lovely smoky gray." Shown is a balance scale fifty centavos, of a type struck 1869-1895. This issue from Durango is fairly common.

Specification: 13.54 g, 0.903 fine silver, .393 troy oz ASW.
