This specimen was lot 73119 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2026), where it sold for $1,708. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. 2 Reales, 1841-Mo ML. Mexico City Mint. NGC MS-64. Very scarce date. Tied with one other for highest graded of five examples by NGC. Unusually well struck with colorful dark toning. An exceptional example of this very scarce date. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Reales Minors." Of the fourteen mints of the Republic of Mexico, only Oaxaca did not strike this type. Shown is an 1841-M^O ML 2 reales, one of a type struck at the Mexico City mint 1825-37, 1840-42, 1847-63, 1867-68 with assayer ML noted for 1833-42.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a scarce date.
