The first specimen was lot 33496 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic 8 Reales 1831 Mo-JM MS61 NGC, Mexico City mint. Full silvery brilliance with flatly struck centers, as is typical of this early Republican date." No varieties are listed for this date, which is rather scarce.
