This specimen was lot 6379 in Ponterio sale 155 (Baltimore, November 2010), where it sold for $327.75. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. Mexico City. 8 Reales, 1828-JM. Slightly weak on eagle's breast. BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED." The SCWC notes no varieties for the date but prices it higher than 1826-Mo or 1827-Mo.
