Mexico 1847-GC MP real

from the San Dimas collection

This specimen was struck at the Guadalupe y Calvo mint in 1847. This mint struck silver and gold coins 1844-51, all with assayer MP. The issues of Guadalupe y Calvo are the third rarest mint after Estado de Mexico and Hermosillo.

Specification: 3.38 g, 0.903 fine silver, .099 troy oz ASW.
