Shown is an 1898GoR five centavos, of a type struck at the Guanajuato mint 1898-1900. This issue is one of the plentiful dates, even in nice condition. It is only known with the gold peso obverse. Other mints include Culiacan, Zacatecas and Mexico City.
Specification: 1.35 g, 0.903 fine silver, .039 troy oz ASW.
Mintage: 180,000.
