Mexico 1898-Mo AM peso
This specimen was lot 11296 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $499. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Peso, 1898-MoAM. Restrike of 1949. Very attractive toning. NGC MS-65." This date was restruck in 1949 at the request of the United States government.
