This specimen was lot 7844 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Peso, 1898-Zs FZ. Zacatecas Mint. PCGS MS-63. A bright and lustrous Peso, with frosty surfaces and pleasing peripheral toning. A struck through object, perhaps a thread, is noted on the left wing of the eagle."

Recorded mintage: 5,714,000.

Specification: 27.07 g, 0.903 fine silver, .786 troy oz ASW.
