This specimen was lot 8678 in Ponterio sale 151 (Baltimore, November 2009), where it sold for $1897.50. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. 20 Pesos, 1883/2-GoB. Nice strike, PCGS MS-61." This issue from Guanajuato is among the more available dates, tho the overdate is listed as scarce. Other mints include Hermosillo, Culiacan, Durango, Zacatecas, Chihuahua, Mexico City and Alamos.

Specification: 33.84 g, 0.875 fine gold, .952 troy oz AGW.
