This specimen was lot 71091 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $1,560. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 5 Centavos, 1875-Cn P. Culiacan Mint. NGC EF Details--Cleaned. Tied for best of only two examples in NGC Census. Nicely toned with die rust on reverse. Very rare date missing in most major collections including Banco de Mexico. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Decimal Minors." Shown is an 1875-CN P five centavos, of a type struck 1871-76 and 1886-97. This issue from Culiacan is a rare date.
