This specimen was lot 3781 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $142.80. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO: Republic, AR 8 reales, 1875-Mo, assayer BH, blast white luster, NGC graded MS61." The Mexico City mint struck eight reales of this design 1824-63, 1867-69, 1873-97 and most dates, including this one, are common. Assayer BH is reported for 1874-76.

Specification: 27.07 g, 0.903 fine silver, .786 troy oz ASW.
