This specimen was lot 72293 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $336. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. 50 Centavos, 1875-Pi H. San Luis Potosi Mint. NGC AU Details--Obverse Scratched. Finest of four graded by NGC. Scratches are light and under golden toning. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Decimal Minors." Shown is a balance scale fifty centavos, of a type struck 1869-1895. This issue from San Luis Potosí is common for the mint tho priced 60% higher than a common Guanajuato issue. includes 1875/3.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a common date for the mint.

Specification: 13.54 g, 0.903 fine silver, 30.5 mm diameter, reeded edge.
