This specimen was struck at the Guanajuato mint in 1829. This mint struck silver and gold coins 1812-1900, with one reals known for 1826-62 and 1867-68. Assayers MG and MJ are recorded for 1829 along with small and large eagle varieties. None are awarded a premium. The issues of Guanajuato, along with Zacatecas and Mexico City, are generally common.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 3.38 g, .903 fine silver, .099 troy oz ASW.
