This specimen was struck at the Guanajuato mint in 1830. This mint struck silver and gold coins 1812-1900, with one reals known for 1826-62 and 1867-68. Assayer MJ is recorded for 1829-33. The issues of Guanajuato, along with Zacatecas and Mexico City, are generally common.
