Mexico 1830-Mo JM 2 reales
This specimen was lot 3461 in Goldberg sale 78 (Los Angeles, January 2014), where it sold for $117.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mexico. 2 Reales, 1830-Mo JM. Cap and rays. Softly struck in the center. Brilliant mint luster. NGC graded MS-62." This is one of a type struck at the Mexico City mint 1825-68. Other mints include Guanajuato, Zacatecas, Alamos, Hermosillo, Guadalajara, Culiacan, Chihuahua, Durango, Potosi, Estado de Mexico, Real de Catorce and Guadalupe y Calvo.
