This specimen was lot 70243 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2020), where it sold for $90. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Mexico|MEXICO]]. 5 Centavos, 1890-Mo M. Mexico City Mint. NGC MS-64. Pleasingly toned and shimmering from beneath, this near Gem is exceeded in the NGC census by just one example." Shown is an 1890-MoM five centavos, of a type struck at the Mexico City mint 1869-1897. This issue is one of the plentiful dates, even in nice condition. This specimen was lot 70243 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2020), where it sold for $90. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 5 Centavos, 1890-Mo M. Mexico City Mint. NGC MS-64. Pleasingly toned and shimmering from beneath, this near Gem is exceeded in the NGC census by just one example." Shown is an 1890-MoM five centavos, of a type struck at the Mexico City mint 1869-1897. This issue is one of the plentiful dates, even in nice condition. Other mints include Hermosillo, Culiacan, Durango, Zacatecas, Chihuahua, Potosi, Guadalajara, Oaxaca, Alamos and Guanajuato. An overdate, 1890/00, is recorded for the year.

Specification: 1.35 g, 0.903 fine silver, .039 troy oz ASW.
