This specimen was lot 8134 in Ponterio sale 159 (Baltimore, March 2011), where it sold for $373.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Guadalajara. 1/2 Real, 1831-GaLP. VERY RARE. FINE." It was struck at the Guadalajara mint in 1825, one of a type struck there 1825-62. Assayer LP is listed for 1831 only. It is listed but not priced in the SCWC.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 1.69 g, .903 fine silver, .049 troy oz ASW.
