Sincona sale 91, lot 3670

This specimen was lot 3670 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$397 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, Taler 1724, Zürich. Spruch. Vorzüglich. Kratzer auf Avers. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, thaler of 1724, Zürich mint, motto reverse. Extremely fine, Scratches on obverse.)"

This motto reverse thaler was struck 1724-27, 1730-34 and accompanied a city view thaler (Dav-1784).
