This specimen was lot 22729 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, ND (1643-44). York Mint. Charles I. PCGS VF-35 Gold Shield. Moderately circulated and handsomely toned, this more refined series for Charles offers a degree of elegance. Incorrectly attributed on the holder as S-2873 (reverse lion initial mark between lozenges)." This example could be KM-189, -190 or -191; without photos in the catalog, we must remain uncertain.
