This specimen was lot 56717 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 6 Pence, (1643-44). York Mint. Charles I. PCGS Genuine--Altered Surfaces, EF Details. From the Lucius S. Ruder Collection." This coin, altho undated, appears to be milled. We don't know if it was issued by the royalists or the parliamentarians. The York mint also struck shillings and half crowns.

Specification: 3.01 g, 0.925 fine silver.
