This specimen was lot 37049 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Groat (2 Pence), ND (1643-44). London Mint; mm: P in brackets. Charles I. PCGS VF-30. From the Richard August Collection." Altho this type has the bust of Charles I, it was struck by Parliament in London while Charles was in the country, raising the royalist standard.
