This specimen was lot 1158 in Jean Elsen sale 159 (Brussels, June 2024), where it sold for €95 (about US$122 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ALLEMAGNE, République de Weimar, (1919-1933), AR 3 Reichsmark, 1931 A. Très Beau. (Germany, Weimar Republic, 1919-33, silver three mark of 1931. Very fine.)"

The SCWC notes that less than ten percent of this issue of 1931-33 was released; it is seldom seen today. This specimen is from the Berlin mint and is the most common date.

Recorded mintage: 13,324,000, the most common date.

Specification: 15 g, 0.500 fine silver, .239 troy oz ASW, 30 mm diameter.
