This specimen was lot 3038 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY: Weimar Republic, 50 reichspfennig, 1931-A, a superb proof quality example! PCGS graded Proof 65, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." This is a fairly common date of a type struck 1927-38 at six mints.
Recorded mintage: 5,624,000 plus proofs.
