This specimen was lot 1009 in Jean Elsen sale 111 (Brussels, December 2011), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"ALLEMAGNE, République de Weimar, (1919-1933), Aluminium-bronze 10 Reichspfennig, 1931 G, Rare. Nettoyée. Très Beau. (Germany, Weimar Republic, aluminum bronze ten reichspfennig, 1931-G, rare, cleaned, very fine.)"

This type was issued from six mints 1924-36 and is common but this date from the Karlsruhe mint is rare.

Recorded mintage: 38,000.

Specification: 4.05 g, aluminum bronze, 21 mm diameter.
